an was denken Sie als Anleger beim Jahresausblick auf 2026? Vielleicht achten Sie auf  technische oder fundamentale Faktoren, die auf die Kurse einwirken k\u00f6nnen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es gibt aber auch einen bedeutsamen mehrj\u00e4hrigen Zyklus: der 4-Jahreszyklus. Er geht \u00fcber vier Jahre und beeinflusst die Kurse am US-Aktienmarkt.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Er wird auch Wahlzyklus genannt. Denn es spielt f\u00fcr die Aktienm\u00e4rkte eine Rolle, in welchem Jahr des vierj\u00e4hrigen Wahlzyklus wir uns befinden. Das kommende Jahr 2026 ist dabei ein sogenanntes Zwischenwahljahr. Wie schneidet es im 4-Jahreszyklus ab?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der 4-Jahreszyklus beeinflusst die M\u00e4rkte<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Das 4-Jahres- oder Wahlzyklus genannte Ph\u00e4nomen differenziert nicht nach der Partei, sondern nach dem Jahr der Pr\u00e4sidentschaft. In den 125 Jahren zwischen 1900 und 2024 stieg der Dow Jones durchschnittlich 5,70%, wenn es sich um ein Pr\u00e4sidenten\u00adwahljahr handelte. In den Vorwahljahren schnitt er mit 8,95% sogar noch besser ab. In den Nachwahljahren waren es hingegen lediglich 4,75%, in den darauffolgenden Zwischen\u00adwahljahren sogar nur 0,78%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Zwischen\u00adwahljahr ist somit das schlechteste Jahr im 4-Jahreszyklus. Das ist keine sch\u00f6ne Aussicht f\u00fcr die Aktienkurse im kommenden Jahr, das ein Zwischenwahljahr ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der 4-Jahres Wahlzyklus im Detail<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Doch wie sieht die Entwicklung im Detail aus? Sehen Sie sich dazu den durchschnittlichen Vierjahresverlauf des Dow Jones im Chart an. Die Skala rechts weist Gewinn prozentual aus. Die Skala unten zeigt das Jahr im Vierjahreszyklus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oberhalb von \u201eElection\u201c ist der durchschnittliche Verlauf aller Wahljahre dargestellt, oberhalb von \u201ePost-Elect.\u201c der aller Nachwahljahre, oberhalb von \u201eMidterm\u201c der aller Zwischenwahljahre, und oberhalb von \u201ePre-Election\u201c der aller Vorwahljahre. Wie Sie anhand des Endwertes der Skala sehen k\u00f6nnen, lag der durchschnittliche Anstieg \u00fcber gesamten Vierjahreszeitraum bei 23%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

W\u00e4hrend die \u00fcbrigen drei Jahre des Zyklus mehr oder minder positiv verliefen, brachte das mit rotem Pfeil markierte Zwischenwahljahr den Anlegern hingegen im Mittel kaum Gewinne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mit 2026 steht ein solches jetzt an. Es droht ein relativ schlechtes B\u00f6rsenjahr zu werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Gr\u00fcnde des Pr\u00e4sidentenwahlzyklus scheinen \u00fcbrigens fiskal- und geldpolitischer Natur zu sein und d\u00fcrften mit den Wahlen zusammenh\u00e4ngen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deutlich erkennen Sie die Abschw\u00e4chung ab Mitte April \u2013 sozusagen ein leicht vorgezogenes \u201eSell in Mai and go Away\u201c. Daf\u00fcr erfolgt auch der Anstieg bereits wieder fr\u00fcher, n\u00e4mlich Ende September. Insgesamt ist das Zwischenwahljahr problematisch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Problematisch ist allerdings nur der Gesamtmarkt. Viele einzelne Werte und Sektoren weichen vom Index-Verlauf ab und bieten Ihnen auch in schwierigen Zeiten gute Chancen.
