A month and a half ago, you could read here about the significantly expanded comparison function. With this function, you can compare the seasonal performance of, for example, a stock with that of the index in a single chart.
Today I would like to introduce you to another innovation that can help you achieve profits: the screening of index universes.
What’s new about that?
The screening at Seasonax
Let’s take another look at the screener.
The screener is one of the most popular features at Seasonax.
With it, you can screen and sort over 50 basic sets such as stock indices, sector indices, commodities, currencies or even instruments from your personal basket according to freely selectable criteria.
This will show you the seasonally best stocks, for example from the S&P 500. The first image shows you the result of such a screening for promising stocks.

With a single click, the screener shows you the most seasonally promising stocks in the S&P 500, or those in a sector index of the S&P 500 such as “Information Technology” or “Energy”.
What you haven’t been able to do so far, however, is to display the most promising sectors. The question “which sector will perform best seasonally in the coming weeks?” has remained unanswered.
The new screening of index universes
Now you can find this out with just one click! Simply select the new “Indices” menu item and then the desired index, in this case “US Sectors S&P 500”.

As a result, you will no longer see a list of stocks, but rather the most promising sector indices.
The following figure shows you the result of such a screening for promising indices:

As you can see, in this example, the sector index “Information Technology” followed by “Energy” are the most seasonally promising sectors of the S&P 500.
You can now perform two-stage screening!
Seasonax now offers you the opportunity to make a preliminary selection, such as the sectors “Information Technology” followed by “Energy”.
This way you can find out in seconds which sectors currently have the most promising seasonal prospects.
As a next step, you can screen these sectors for the most seasonally promising stocks.
